Ferrari has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain Model Year 2021 – 2023 Ferrari SF90 vehicles. The vehicles involved are equipped with an incorrect passenger seat. As a result, in case of an accident, the deployment of a passenger side airbag could possibly impact a child seat, thereby potentially causing abnormal body acceleration, which may lead to injuries and/or death. We want to assure you that your safety is our priority, and we are committed to correcting this condition in your vehicle if it exists.
Our records show that you are the owner of a vehicle affected by this recall.
IMPORTANT
Ferrari will repair your vehicle free of charge. The repair consists of replacing the vehicle’s M size passenger seat with an XL size passenger seat. The replacement part is not yet available; we will contact you again when the replacement part is in dealer stock. The time needed for the repair is estimated to be approximately 30 minutes. In the meantime, you should not use and/or install a child seat in your vehicle.

The vehicles involved are equipped with an incorrect passenger seat. As a result, in case of an accident, the deployment of a passenger side airbag could possibly impact a child seat, thereby potentially causing abnormal body acceleration, which may lead to injuries and/or death.
The vehicles involved are equipped with an M Size Front Passenger Seat which will be replaced by an XL Size Front Passenger Seat.
IMPORTANT
Ferrari will be notifying ALL affected vehicle owners nationwide with a letter indicating that the vehicle must be brought in immediately and the replacement parts will be installed free of charge.
Owners may contact Ferrari North America at (201) 816-2668; Ferrari’s campaign number for this recall is C24000084.
You must order the necessary part for each vehicle. Upon completion of the repair, we will reimburse you for the parts and labor necessary to perform this campaign under the normal warranty system.
It is a violation of Federal law for a dealer to deliver a new motor vehicle covered by this notification under a sale or lease until the recall campaign is completed.

CONDITION: The vehicles involved are equipped with an incorrect passenger seat. As a result, in case of an accident, the deployment of a passenger side airbag could possibly impact a child seat, thereby potentially causing abnormal body acceleration, which may lead to injuries and/or death.
The vehicles involved are equipped with an M Size Front Passenger Seat which will be replaced by an XL Size Front Passenger Seat.
The list of the vehicles involved can be viewed directly from the New Modis portal by selecting the menu “Recall and Service Campaign Management” and entering the campaign number indicated (New Modis / Service / Campaigns / CMP-Campaigns -> C24000084).
REMEDY: Ferrari will repair the vehicle free of charge. The repair involves replacing the M Size Front Passenger Seat with an XL Size Front Passenger Seat.

PARTS INVOLVED:
The parts necessary to implement this RECALL CAMPAIGN are described below and need to be ordered as needed by each respective Authorized Ferrari Dealer.
To perfrom this Recall operation, make sure to order a new XL Size Front Passenger Seat from our Parts Department. To ensure that you order the seat with the correct configuration, we hereby recommend to implement the following steps:
• Access the Parts Catalog by entering the specific VIN of the vehicle and open the table 163 – FRONT SEATS – RACING SEAT.
• The catalog will show the seats currently installed in the vehicle
o (Size M) – Fig.1.
• Click on the cube icon and note the seat configuration. – Fig. 1 and 2.
• Remove the VIN filter and configure the passenger seat part number (size XL) according to your needs.
Update the CRM customer database in Modis accordingly as soon as you receive any notification regarding the status of the vehicle (e.g., change of ownership, scrapping, etc.).
The list of vehicles involved in the update is viewable on the New Modis site, using the “Recall and Service Campaign Management” function, entering the campaign number indicated below.

Description of Remedy Program : The repair consists of replacing the M size passenger seat with an XL size
passenger seat. Ferrari will send a notice letter to all affected vehicle owners to warn them of this issue, and instruct them 1) to contact an authorized Ferrari dealer to schedule the free recall repair, and 2) that in the meantime, request them not to use/install any child seats on board of the vehicles. Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : The size of the passenger seats that will be upgraded to XL size. All SF90 vehicles currently in production have been fitted with XL size passenger seats starting from February 21, 2023. Recall Schedule :

the affected vehicles advising them to contact an authorized Ferrari dealer to schedule an appointment to have the recall work performed.
